'에바 알머슨'은 스페인 출신의 화가이다. 바르셀로나 대학교를 졸업하였고 암스테르담의 Rietveld Akademie에서 트레이닝을 완료하고 팔마 데 말로르카(Palma de Mallorca)의 Pilar Miro Foundation에서 지원을 받고 있다고 한다.
그녀의 주된 관심사는 평범한 일상속에서 일어나는 긍정(?)의 힘을 포착하는 것이다. 그녀의 그림 속의 대상은 그녀 자신, 그녀의 여동생, 그녀의 남편, 그녀의 아들(?) 등 그녀의 일상을 함께 나누는 사람들이기 때문에 뭔가 자서전적인 느낌이 강하다.
모든 그림은 단 한가지 표정을 짓고있으며, 이는 바로 위의 그림에서 보여지는 '다소곳한 웃음'뿐이다. 그녀의 그림 中 머리 부분이 꽃으로 가득찬 그림이 있었는데, 순간 천경자 화가의 그림이 떠올랐다. (오마주였을까?)
'베르나르 베르베르' 의 테크와 유사한 친한(親韓) 예술가이며 실제로 그림 몇 점은 서울 N 타워가 들어서 있다. '엄마는 해녀입니다.'라는 동화(?) 소설(?)의 삽화도 그렸다고 한다.
전시회 사진을 찍지 못하게 하였기 때문에 작품 사진을 찍을 수 없어 구글링한 결과를 함께 포스팅한다.
평일에도 아이들과 함께 전시를 보러온 아줌마들이 가득하여 매우매우 붐볐다. 엽서 몇개를 Get했다.
Eva Armisén (Zaragoza, 1969)Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, she completed her training at the Rietveld Akademie in Amsterdam and a grant from the Joan and Pilar Miró Foundation in Palma de Mallorca. Live and work in Barcelona.
Her work focuses on capturing daily life and daily life as something extraordinary, proposing a vital and optimistic look that moves us to a livable and emotional world.
Painting and engraving are the most common means of the artist, but the originality and ability to communicate in her work has led Armisén to collaborate on very varied projects such as public art installations, advertising campaigns, film and television or editorial projects.
With an increasingly international trajectory we can see his work exhibited in cities such as Seoul, Los Angeles, Hong Kong Singapore, Lisbon, Taipei, Shanghai or Melbourne at art fairs and individual exhibitions.
In 2016, she collaborated in the candidacy of the "Haenyeo" (women scuba divers of the island of Jeju) to Intangible Heritage of Humanity and in June of 2017 she illustrated the book Mom is a Haenyeo where the incredible history of these women is explained.
